When typing in child information there is a “+” plus sign where you can add additional children to your search.
No, you only need to input the address where you are searching for child care. You can also search locations along your commute to work, or use “other” if you are looking in a different part of Jefferson County from where you work or live.
If a provider does not return your call, it is likely because they have no openings at this time. Please try your search again or choose another provider from the list.

The age group information is based on the age range of the child you specified. If you are looking for other age group information for a different child, please add that child to your search criteria.
In certain cases, a provider may have openings but has not updated their information online. Please contact the provider directly to inquire about availabilities.
When the list of providers is displayed, click the “heart” symbol in the upper right corner for the provider you are interested in. You will be prompted to create (or login if you have already signed up) an account that saves your “favorite” providers.
After you create a list of your favorite providers using the steps above, you can download that list of providers. The “Download Favorites” link appears at the upper right corner of your search screen.
Providers can update their available openings and program information at any time. This ensures you see the latest data.
Providers are listed by distance, starting with the location closest to the address you used for the search.
From the list of providers, click on the provider’s name/organization.
When a provider’s profile is displayed, click on the “View certificates and inspection reports” link.
When the list of providers is displayed, click on “More filters” and select “Only show providers that have reported availability”. The tool will then show only providers with available spots.
