ECHO Screening & Access provides developmental, vision, and hearing screening for children aged birth to kindergarten entry and for pregnant women. If a problem is detected, ECHO helps parents access services needed by their child and themselves. At ECHO Screening, families can apply for the Colorado Preschool Program, Head Start, Early Head Start, and First Steps Parents as Teachers Home Visits.  Families who have concerns about their child's social and emotional skills or behavior challenges can also receive help.  Families can get an extra boost toward kindergarten readiness, if needed through Early Intervention and preschool special education, or if their child has social-emotional issues or behavioral challenges.  All programs are at "no charge" to families and are for children who are not yet in kindergarten. For more information, call ECHO at 719-276-6175.
